Everything you need to paint in one kit! It doesn't get any easier than this.

Simply choose whether you want an epoxy primer or a filler primer, see the user guide below for step-by-step advice on how to use the whole kit!

IN THE KIT:

  • 0.5L of lacquer base paint mix according to your colour code.
  • 0.5L lacquer working mix (hardener + lacquer).
  • 0.3L primer working mix (epoxy or primer filler)
  • 1L nitro solvent for gun wash
  • 1 tack cloth
  • 3 pairs of nitrile gloves
  • 3 paint filters
  • 1 roll of paper tape 24mmx45m
  • 100ml silicone remover for cleaning surfaces
  • 4 paint mixing sticks
  • 4 paper towels 30x38cm

MANUAL:

1.After sanding/sanding/matting the surface, clean the surface with the silicone remover. After wiping, remove any dust and grease from the surface. Allow excess to evaporate from the surface for approximately 1 minute.

2. cover the surfaces not requiring painting using a masking tape and a masking paper/sheet.

3.Clean the surface thoroughly again with silicone remover and allow the excess to evaporate from the surface for 1 minute.

4.Using compressed air and a tack cloth, wipe the surface. This will remove the last traces of dirt and dust.

5.If you are painting on bare metal, we recommend using epoxy primer as the first coat. Mix the primer and the hardener together in a container using a paint mixing stick, pour the mixture through the paint filter into the spray gun. Apply two even coats of primer, waiting about 20 minutes between coats. Afterwards, clean the gun with nitro solvent and allow the primer to dry for 12-24 hours. Afterwards, sand the primer and transition areas (if any) smooth with P500-P600 paper, without water, using an eccentric sander or by hand.

6.If painting on old, matted paint or on a puttyed area, we recommend using a filler primer. Mix the primer and hardener together in a container using a paint mixing stick, pour the mixture through the paint filter into the spray gun. Apply two to three even coats of primer, waiting about 20 minutes between coats. Afterwards, clean the gun with nitro solvent and allow the primer to dry for 12 to 24 hours. Afterwards, sand the primer and transition areas (if any) smooth with P500-P600 paper, without water, using an eccentric sander or by hand.

7.After sanding, clean the surface to be treated and the surrounding surface first with compressed air and then with a cloth impregnated with silicone remover. Allow excess silicone remover to evaporate from the surface for approximately 1 minute.

8.Clean the surface with a tack cloth and compressed air.

9.Coat the primer with paint. The paint is ready to use and just needs to be mixed beforehand. Pour the paint mixture through the paint filter into the spray gun. Apply the first coat thinly and wait for 5 minutes, then apply the second coat from a distance of about 30 cm. Ensure that the second coat covers the substrate evenly so that the colour is even and the substrate does not show through. If necessary, apply a second coat, waiting 15-25 minutes for the first coat to dry evenly to a matt finish. The last coat is applied as effect coat, mist layer. This will ensure an even effect. Apply the effect coat layer 5-10 minutes after the last full coat. Clean the gun thoroughly with nitro solvent after painting.

10.While the paint is drying, mix up the clearcoat. Pour the hardener into the pot of clearcoat and mix using the mixing stick provided. Pour the mixed clearcoat mixture through the paint filter into the spray gun.

11.When the paint has dried to an even matt finish (10-15 minutes after the last coat), apply the lacquer to the surface. Apply the first coat lightly and wait 10-15 minutes. 10-15 minutes. Then apply the second coat. Make sure that this coat covers evenly, and that the result is an even, glossy surface. When you are satisfied with the result, clean the gun with nitro solvent.

12.Remove any tape around the edges of the lacquered detail 10-15 minutes after the final coat of lacquer. This will ensure that the lacquer sinks evenly as it dries and that you don't get sharp edges on the edges of the piece.

13. Allow the lacquer to dry for 12 to 24 hours and then remove the masking paper/film and masking tape from the surrounding parts. After 24 hours you can assemble the piece.
